Description
The Oriental Darter (Anhinga melanogaster), also known as the Indian Darter or Snakebird, is a distinctive wetland bird found across the Indian subcontinent and other parts of South and Southeast Asia. Its long, slender neck and pointed bill give it a characteristic snake-like appearance when it swims with much of its body submerged.
